LAB RESIDENCY
The Lab Residency is Physical Lab's biggest event, and it offers actors and performers the opportunity to dive deeper into the Lab methodology. Each Spring, a group of 10 performing artists from across the globe are offered the opportunity to train and perform on the island of Crete.
Over the two-week period, ensemble members will experience a wider range of the Lab methodology, as well as work on preparing scene work for a short-run performance.
The training will be led by artistic director Yorgos Karamalegos as well as visiting practitioners whose work complements the Lab's methodology.

CRETE SUMMER RESIDENCY

Our annual Crete Summer Residency will be happening again in 2023!
During this two-week, intensive workshop, you can expect practice in presence, grounding and de-conditioning techniques, physical improvisation with live percussion, walks and training in nature, meditation, working outdoors, sun, sea, and, of course, delicious Cretan cuisine.
